Title: All Shall Burn
Label: Black Lodge
Release: 22 November 2019
Swedens mighty Eleine return with an EP full of surprises.“All Shall Burn” simply blew me away from the very first listen and has had me hooked ever since. The sheer power from Madeleine Liljestam Vocals is masterful as ever as are the deathly growls from Rikard Ekberg (Vocals/ Guitar) and accompanied by Ludwig Dante (Guitar) ,Annton Helgesson (Bass), and Jesper Sunnhagen (Drums) this intense and deeply impactful five-track work of art is awesome.
Opening with “Enemies” we are taken on symphonic journey of massive proportions as once again Madeleine's incredible Vocals deliver a passion that simply engulfs the listener in its glorious tones. This bodacious work of art just gets better and better as the next song “All Shall Burn” rocks up, this track is stunning as Rikard brings his growls and Madeleines crisp tones emanate out of your speakers this really is a beauty and the beast pairing that’s insanely addictive.
Next, we get a massive surprise as Rammstein's “Mein Herz Brennt” gets the Eleine treatment, quite simply breathtaking! From the stunning Album “In The End” “Hell Moon (We shall never die) is up next a song that I simply adore, its beautiful and meaningful delivery sends shivers up and down your spine, it's immense.
Finally, we come to a symphonic version of the title track, which an exhilarating finish to this piece de resistance.
The potency and finesse throughout the five tracks impress and leaves you salivating for the next full-length Eleine Album.
This is a must have for anyone who loves Metal with passion and intensity, this is an enthralling release that will appeal to fans of not just Symphonic, Gothic Metal, but all genres of Metal and beyond.. Make sure you grab a hold of "All Shall Burn" and catch Eleine live!
