Everyday Dogs  11/11/20

MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences
ED:So we have a bunch of bands that each of us draw from for inspiration and admiration, but the ones that all of us are really into would be alice in chains, rage against the machine and avenged sevenfold

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
ED:Whenever I write lyrics I like to let my imagination run wild with what the guitar part has going on and find an idea that really compliments the music.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?
ED:Hmm so right now we’ve all been really into the band Thrice and I think we can all say that Hurricane is a kick-ass song

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2020
ED:Yea 2020 really has not been great for live music.

MM: What can we expect fromEveryday Dogs live
ED:Ears ringing, body aching, mom’s spaghetti

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring
ED:Our touring experience is very minimal so from what we have experienced, the best thing is playing rock music in different towns (never gets old), and traveling with cargo and members in a baby blue minivan is less than ideal

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
ED:Motley Crue (they were insane)
Rush (if we want to chill)
Greta van fleet (fellow youths)

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why
ED:Highly Suspect in Nashville before they went all electronic. Just an absolute killer show plus got cake thrown at me mid concert.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with
ED:Headlining Athens at the 40 watt was a pretty huge milestone in our career so far. It’s almost a right of passage in our town.

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time
ED:Tough question. 2112 by Rush and Superunknown by  Soundgarden. I could listen to both of those on loop without ever getting bored

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?
ED:At first it was pretty terrifying but over time you get used to it and really learn to love it. First high pressure gig was our first Athens concert at flicker bar which turned into a night I would never forget just because of how much fun it was.

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.
ED:Beatles and Rush

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person
ED:Unfortunately there definitely is a right answer… Black Sabbath. Every metalhead must pay homage to the ones who created metal.

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
ED:Right now and always the most important thing to us is the music and remembering why it drives us. Because even with great music and a great plan, if theres no substance underneath as to why and a drive to Rock, nothing would ever get done

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
ED:New York California- Skeggs. We started adding this to our live shows just because it makes us happy.

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band

MM: Four words to describe your Band
ED:Goony, Goony, Goony , Goony

Final Words for your fans and our readers
ED:If you’re reading this, 1. You rock 2. Everyday Dogs thinks you’re cool.
