                                                                                                                          Subliminal Landmines  27/03/21

MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences

We are a punk band from Lafayette, LA in the United States. We have a wide range of influences but the ones that really stick out in the music we write is Green Day, Blink-182, and Alkaline Trio

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from

Usually when we write we pull that inspiration from personal experiences whether it be past or present. Digging deep into whatever emotion that we feel then or felt at one point in time.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?

hmmm one song we love to play live is the Brain Stew / Jaded combo by Green Day. We even recorded a cover of it which is on our new album Gibberish

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2021

So far this year we have played 2 shows which is already better than 2020. Our goal is to play at least 2 shows or so every month this year so we can get back into a good flow

MM: What can we expect from Subliminal Landmines live

You can expect a high energy and in your face type show with maybe some pits depending on the crowd. While also having our fair share of jokes if we feel they fit the show

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring

The best part about touring is traveling played to different demographics of people because everywhere you go the people will be different. The worst part of touring is always the technical difficulties that you endure on stage sometimes but as long as you know how to recover efficiently its all good

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies

Green Day, Blink-182. Alkaline Trio

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why

Its hard to answer for all of us but for me (Grant) it was when i went see Green Day for the first time live in texas in i believe it was 2017 or so. They never came play down south in the whole 10-15 years i was listening to them and they finally did and put on a damn good show

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with Subliminal Landmines

Our biggest accomplishment is definately putting out a studio recorded full length album. Its a milestone that a lot of bands dont get the opportunity of doing and it it feels great to be working on another

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time

Insomniac by Green Day and Eema of the State by blink-182

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?

We can't remember exactly but its a damn good feeling. Once you get past the nerves that come at the beginning of the show then your good

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.

Green Day, Sum 41, Senses Fail, Blink-182, etc

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person

Thats a very tough question, probably the Ramones

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?

Right now getting out again and playing shows is whats important to us right now. Yes we are also writing new music and may put something out soon but shows are definitely top priority

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?

We talked about doing a cover of Kids in America at one point

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band

Its catchy, fast, and aggressive and will most likely get stuck in your head.

MM: Four words to describe (band Name)

Fast, Aggressive, Angry, Unpredictable
