MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences

Tradmrkd is a band from Aberdeen in Scotland. We consist of Eddie Flinn on vocals, Finlay Cardno on Bass, Corey Finnie on Lead and James Riddoch on drums.

Our biggest influences vary from, Green Day, Nirvana, Guns n Roses and the Smiths.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from

Eddie writes the majority of our songs. He draws a lot of influence from Green Day and the East Bay punk scene as you will hear in our music.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?

To jam to it would have to be Brown Ale. To play live it is either Pendulum or an unreleased single called cactus. Cactus is a proper fast punk tune.

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2020

We had some tours in the pipeline unfortunately, they all went up in smokes with covid 19.

MM: What can we expect from Tradmrkd live

A great punk atmosphere and a rare disappointment.

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring

Playing all the time that is the best bit about touring. Getting to do what we love. Worst is sometimes the traveling. It can be a drag.

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies

It would have to be; Green Day, Foo Fighters and Nirvana

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why

Eddie: Mine would have to be the proclaimers mainly because it was my first ever gig I went to. Not a huge rock concert but it was one of the sparks for my love of music.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with

Getting to play our first gig as a band. We worked so hard to get there and to see it all pay off was amazing.

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time

Eddie: for me it has to be Dookie and Nevermind. Those two albums define the 90s in my opinion. The reason they are so good is because they stood the test of time and are still relevant in todays culture.

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?

Our first show had the grand total of like 5 people watching us. It still felt great to play our music and have people enjoy it. Was an amazing experience. We played at the Harbour Lights in Peterhead; a local pub for us.

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.

Green Day all over my walls. Dookie and American idiot were all I had. I always wanted an insomniac poster but they seem to be gold dust.

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person

Where do you even start? Ozzy Osbourne has to be up there. Maybe even topped by Dio. There are so many people who can be argued to be the biggest influence.

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?

Getting as many shows as possible and releasing an EP as soon as we can. We don’t have the production quality to do that yet.

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?

Hard Luck Women by Kiss. I don’t know why, I just think that it is an amazing composition. Every instrument works in harmony together.

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band

You should listen to us because you will love us. In honesty, we value everyone of our fans and always try to produce the best music we can. If we don’t like our music than it will never be heard. We are all about the best.

MM: Four words to describe Tradmrkd
