                                                                                                            Vyce Versa Interview 1/08/20

MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences!?
A: Forged in the scorching flames of Arizona, the heavy-hitting hard rock quintet VyceVersa came out of the gates swinging in 2019. Putting in the work, the band is continuing to write, perform, and prepare to hit the ground running to support their high energy upcoming efforts. Formed by Rhandy Degarmo (bass and vocals), Ricky Elam (Vocals), and Kevin Rogers (guitar), they left the metal world, leaving behind the messages of anger and hate, and bringing a fresh message of love and positivity upon the rock world. They soon rounded out the sound with Ju McElroy on lead guitar, and Wyatt Irvin on drums.
Tirelessly writing and playing, VyceVersa recorded their debut EP with Jacob Miles, preparing to release their first single, “Life Is Temporary” on July 18th, and are on the verge of recording their first full-length album in October, being produced by the prolific Ryan Daminson (Asking Alexandria, The Word Alive). With multiple music videos on their way, prepare yourselves for the most exciting new entrant in the world of rock, bearing their hearts and souls into their craft.
The music is a perfectly chaotic reflection of the inner workings of VyceVersa, taking the listener on a dark ride through existence. Still within the genesis of the band, they are endorsed by Tsunami Cables, and have recently signed with Rogue Marketing. Wanting to do something different from the rest of the pack, and to put their hearts into the music, the band started this journey. With sound that has no boundaries, the sky is the limit. Get on board or get out of the way.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?
A.Life in Temporary and BreatheIn/BleedOut Are the bands first two singles. That coincides with it happening to be our favorite songs as well!

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2020
A.Well, With the virus we’re all kind of at a planting stop. We as a band took the time to get caught up and instead of taking time off, we used it to retool. Making new music, creating new merchandise, got a new touring van and signed with a new marketing company and so many other opportunities as well that we have not let pass us by.

MM: What can we expect from Vyce/Versa live?
A. We are a very high energy band. We completely feed off of each other nightly. The energy of the next Member feeds the energy to the next member. We write driving music so that our audience can have a great time and can enjoy themselves and can go out there and actually let loose.

MM: What do you like best touring?
A. The best part about Turing is being on the road with my best friends. We were just so extremely hard to be where we are today. Every time we get the opportunity to take the road it’s a blessing for us and we don’t take it lightly. It’s a dream to tour Vyce//Versa. And we can’t wait to make it happen!

MM: What is the band’s greatest accomplishment?
A.This is a hard question to answer. Honestly it’s easy to say that our record was our greatest accomplishment. Granted it took the most amount of work. But what I think our greatest accomplishment was or is, is the five of us coming Together without having worked with each other before to create an album of absolutely incredible music and did it was such respect and dignity and honor then it was never anything short of a pleasure to work not only on this record and moving forward with this band. It just leaves you with nothing more but excitement to keep going!
