MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences
AM: My music is a unique fusion of passion, creativity, and an unwavering drive to connect with
people through the songs I create. My personal biggest influences include Stevie Wonder,
Michael Jackson, The Beatles, and Queen.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
AM: I draw my inspirations and ideas from various sources, including philosophy, psychology,
personal experiences, and the world around me. I’ve written a song based on a reddit comment,
a news article headline, my last song I wrote was influenced by a video by the YouTuber
Thoughty2. I strive to take my listeners on a journey, breaking and rebuilding their worldviews
through my music.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favorite song ?
AM: My favorite song that Ive created is Peace, as it reflects the emotions and messages I
want to convey. Peace presents an introspective exploration of themes such as apathy,
detachment from reality, and the desire for an escape from reality. It incorporates sleep as a
metaphor for death, and explores the uncertainty surrounding concepts of existence and
identity. It sets up the existential crisis at the beginning of the album, which is inevitably
remedied further through the album.

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2023
AM: As for 2023, I am working on planning some exciting tours and festivals, so keep an eye out
for updates!

MM: What can we expect from Austin Mulka live?
AM: When you come to one of my live shows, expect an energetic and emotionally charged
performance.

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring
AM: The best part about touring is connecting with fans and sharing my music with them. The
worst part is being away from home and loved ones for extended periods.

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies:
My ultimate touring buddies would be something like: Foo Fighters, Radiohead, and Arctic
Monkeys.

MM: Whats the most memorable concert youve been to (other than your own) and why
AM: The most memorable concert I attended was Beatles night at the Detroit Symphony
Orchestra. They had John Lennon and Paul McCartney impersonators, and it’s the closest thing
i’m ever going to get to an actual Beatles concert. I had goosebumps, it was unforgettable.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far?

AM: I’m not really in the mindset to answer that question. I’m just really focused on grinding,
preparing, writing, recording and planning. I have too much work to do to even start thinking
about accomplishments. Job’s not finished.
AM: Which are your Two favorite Albums of all time
My two favorite albums of all time are Thriller by Michael Jackson and by The
Beatles.

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people
watching you?
AM: I remember my first live performance, and it was a thrilling mix of excitement, nerves, and
the joy of sharing my music with an audience.

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.
AM: Beatles, Led Zepplin, Foo Fighters.

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person
AM: Queen, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson. And I believe they not only influenced Metal /
Rock, but almost every genre.

MM - The most important thing to the band right now?
AM: I want to be considered one of the greatest to have ever done it. I have that mindset.
Regardless of the outcome, that’s the mindset that’s going to produce the best music out of me.
I’m willing to sacrifice my own happiness for greatness. I spend a lot of time and money on my
craft–learning, practicing, studying, writing. I’m maniacal about it. If I don’t have the mindset to
be the best, then  not giving it my all. My dream would be to not have to work and to just
focus on my music, because I feel like I have an advantage over a lot of other artists with this
type of freedom. I would be using my free-time to do everything I could to be the best.

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
AM: If I could cover any song, it would be Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, as its a
masterpiece that showcases incredible musicality and emotion.

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band:
AM: It’s more intelligently written than 99 percent of artists. It is authentic, heartfelt, and aims to
evoke emotions and provoke thought.

AM: Four words to describe Austin Mulka:
AM: I’ll give you five because i’m an overachiever: Passionate, Evocative, Authentic, Creative,
Emotional. (PEACE)

Final Words for your fans and our readers

you comfort, joy, and inspiration. Keep an eye out for upcoming shows and new music, and stay
connected!
