MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences

We are a new wave pop rock duo from London called Good Time Locomotive. Generally influenced by a wide range of music. So wide we sometimes wonder how or why we have a distinct sound to us and songs we agree on to be honest!

I like the more rock and pop side of things, the other founding member (who is no longer in the band) likes hip-hop and our singer (Hugo) is more into Indie. Somehow that all meets in the middle to make GTL.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
All of the above. Anything that makes you feel emotion when you listen to the music.
MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?

That’s like being asked to pick between your babies! Always a tough question because we are hideous perfectionists and everyone has their personal favourite. Mine is our latest single ‘The Dark Within’ at the moment.

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2023
We are just piecing together the live line up (bassist to go) and then we are all over that gigging thing. Missing it big time!

MM: What can we expect from (Band Name) live

The works….energy, emotion and a well oiled machine. We have to deliver a live show to the same level we do for every stage of what we do. Like I say, horrendous p[perfectionists!

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring
Well, we are still due to do one! Next year is the year for us to do just that!

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
Don Broco but we have several bands we have encountered along the way so far that we would love to play some shows with so far.

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why
Michael Jackson when I was 10 is pretty hard to top (and it was my first!). The guy took off out of Wembley stadium with a rocket strapped to his back! I mean, sure it was amagic trick, but TOP THAT!

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with
Getting to the point of things being to a professional releasable standard. There were a lot of twists and turns before we got here!

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time
Only 2! Ok…. Urm….. Bad – Micheal Jackson and Brothers in arms – Dire Straits

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?
Yep. It was awful! My bass drum slid across the floor and I played like an absolute idiot! Thanks for asking! Lol
Obviously I picked myself up and got better at it, then it was the best feeling ever!

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.
You couldn’t see the wall for GNR, Nirvana, Metallica, Pantera, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, The police…..the place was a frickin shrine!

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person
Elvis

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
Numbers of people who dig what we do. I know a lot of bands like to play it cool but they know as well as we do that it is a numbers game. You get enough, you get to go on tour and earn a living playing music. Simple as that!

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
We are sort of debating what cover to do first. It is between Rio by Duran Duran or Careless whisper by George Michael...maybe we will just do both!

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band
Because we don’t compromise on what we do …. ever! If it doesn’t blow us away, it doesn’t get released. We want to use what we do as a vehicle to help others through the power of music the way it has done for us.

MM: Four words to describe the Name
Good times the motive!

Final Words for your fans and our readers
