MM: Can you tell us about your Band and whos your biggest influences

The Last Element originates when we face the passing of one dearly loved, the hardship of a broken home or the breaking of hearts – it is the first spark, the first sense of emotion, a first feeling that evolves into a creative mind. Bringing these elements together they find a way to grow - Broken hearts fit like pieces of puzzles and these pieces mend into one big heart.

We believe there are many like us, waiting to join our hearts.
Together we are stronger, together we are The Last Element.

That would be us ;)! We really just want the music to tell the story explain who we are. We are influenced by a lot of great bands, not only in our genre but also outside. I mean I think most musicians hear other music and just think wow it's amazing how they wrote that.

MM: Where do you draw your inspirations and ideas from
That would be life, simple as that, a lot of emotions arise from the daily, when I write lyrics it's always inspired by real life events that I go through, some I've been through and some are happening, but mostly I just write what pops up in my head. I need a pen and paper to clear my head, screaming and singing it all out of my head when I record. In the end it's something we all face and we all have different ways of expressing what we feel. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to the lyrics, cause honestly it's not about me... it's about you.

MM: What would you say is your Bands favourite song ?
Hmm we didn't release it yet ;) ! we got a lot of songs lined up that could be our favorite! From the current line up I would say gravity, although the mix is old and doesnt really cut it anymore, the song itself is pretty nifty.

Or did you mean from other bands? Then the answer is... to difficult.

MM: Plans tour and festival wise for 2021
We dont know... Lets see what covid brings us. But if we can play again, we are going for sure! We got a killer live playlist we just want to play!

MM: What can we expect from The Last Element live

Grit, Power, Emotion and energy! We just give it our all, we really work hard to get a killer live show and so far it seems we got it figured out!

MM: What do you like best and worst abt touring
With this current line up we never did a tour, so we have no clue how it would go this time around. Normally some of the headaches are being to confined with eachother and having diffcult times with clashing members. But we believe this band is pretty solid and issues like that should not arrive. The best thing about touring is meeting all the fans and people discovering the band. If we get a chance this year or the next we'll certainly hit the road!

MM: Which three Bands would be your ultimate touring buddies
Bring Me The Horizon, Nothing More and I Prevail
Good thing would be that we open, cause after partying in the crowd watching this guys we would be drained

MM: What's the most memorable concert you've been to (other than your own) and why
Had a lot of cool shows, but one that had an epic moment was killswitch engaged, at a certain point the guitar player gave his roadie his guitar and ran a quick lap on stage, that was pretty epic, went so fast, but had me laughing out loud.

MM: What do you feel has been your biggest accomplishment so far with The Last Element
We landed multiple editorial playlist on Spotify, Apple and Pandora. We Have songs on youtube (shared by others) that hit over 5 millions plays on a single song. And spotify plays are racking and racking up with over 50k unique listeners each month. Another point would be we keep writing better and better songs and our sound is getting better and better. So a lot to look forward 2 aswell.

MM: Which are your Two favourite Albums of all time
This question is impossible to answer... it just shifts, but albums I spin since I was 9/10 years old, mechanical animals by Marilyn Manson and the self titled from slipknot. But yeah one of recent ears would be Trauma from I prevail, the mix, the music, everything is just insanely good.

MM: Can you remember the first time you ever played live and how it felt to have people watching you?
Sure! back when I was 14, I sucked hard and went from mistake to mistake ;)! But it felt really cool to stand there and do my thing. But had hard times as well, many times where I thought I wasn't good enough and should quit. But hey 17 years later I'm still here doing the thing I love.

MM: Growing up which Bands posters did you have on your bedroom wall.
Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Sepultura, SOAD, Nirvana
my dad hated it.

MM - Who do you think influenced the world of Metal / Rock more than any other person
I couldn't say. I just don't really think of it that way, every musician is doing his or her part. All the big names shape the industry and a lot of bands follow. Hell I would say Michael jackson even shaped rock, his voice is pretty harsh and shouty from time to time, it certainly influenced me.

MM - What's the most important thing to the band right now?
Reaching out to new fans! We are working so hard to get more and more people on board, we really feel we have something good in our hands and it's a matter of reaching out to the right ears.

The other thing is just writing songs, each time a new song is finished, its just such a great feeling, really there's nothing like it. Listening to a song when it's completly done and having everything that you heard in your head come to life.

MM:If you could do a cover of any song which one would it be and why?
hahahaha this one is funny, Actually I personally have around 70 covers online, go ahead search for it and you might find it ;)! To spoil it a bit, there is some Spiritbox, some Marilyn Manson, Linkin Park, Lady gaga, Volumes and the list goes on and on...

MM: Tell us why we should buy and listen to your Band
Cause we write the music for you.. each story is one of my own life, but something a lot of us should relate to. I started out saying, when we are together we are stronger, thats really what we believe. We got so much coming and each song is gonna be better then the last. Our next song Cut it off, will blow you away. So come and join us, we promise we won't dissapoint.

MM: Four words to describe the last element
